The Complete List of 857 Porn Websites Blocked in India

The Government of India on Monday silently banned 857 adult content websites, without informing the public. Many websites like collaegehumor.com, barstoolsports.com which are not pornographic also got banned.

The outrage over the issue has forced the government to give clarification on the issue. According to The Hindu report, the government clarifies that “What we have done is temporary…. The government is acting purely on the Supreme Court observation that government needs to take stand on the issue of blocking of pornography websites in the country, especially child pornography…. Free and open access to such content is an issue,”
