Alia Bhatt's bikini shot in her next film opposite Shahid Kapoor, Shaandaar, was a talking point ever since reports suggested she has a beach scene in the movie. When the first trailer was released earlier this week, the Highway actor said she "was training hard for that bikini shot. I was on diet...was focused about getting it right. It was not an elaborate shot, but I worked so hard".

Some trivia straight from the totally-useless-information category, but no less interesting. Did you know that what we call bikini today (two-piece, three-piece... Oh, never mind the pieces!) was born on July 5, 1946 when French designer Louis Reard made Parisian model Micheline Bernardini sport a daring two-piece 'bikini' at a popular swimming pool in Paris? The name was inspired by a US atomic test off the Bikini atoll in the Pacific Ocean earlier that week.
