Aditya Pancholi sentenced in 12 year old assault case

Actor Aditya Pancholi does not hold a decent track record, be it his relationship with Kangana Ranaut or allegedly raping his ex-girlfriend and socialite Pooja Bedi’s minor house help, the man has always been in trouble.

Now, according to reports, Andheri court has convicted the actor in a 12 year old assault case and he has been sentenced to one year simple imprisonment. He was later released on an immediate bail of Rs 12,000 by magistrate Amitabh Panchbhai.

Just a quick recap of what exactly had happened. In the year 2005, Mr Pancholi had assaulted his neighbour Pratik Pasrani and allegedly fractured his nose at their building. According to the police, Mr Pancholi’s guest had parked his car at the space alloted to Mr Pasrani at Magnum Opus Apartments in suburban Versova. Mr Pasrani raised an objection to this and told the security guard to clear the vehicle. This lead to a heated argument between Pancholi and Pasrani with the former breaking the latter’s nose. The police registered a case against Aditya Pancholi for causing injury and grievous hurt.
